Millicent McCarren, MD

Shannon E. Neurohr, PA-C, is an internal medicine physician assistant with AHN Primary Care, where she is the advanced practice provider department lead. Her clinical interest is in geriatrics, specializing in the unique health needs of the elderly. She is skilled in various nonsurgical procedures including joint injections and lesion removals. Shannon received her Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physician Assistant Sciences from Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her philosophy is that patients are the captain of their ship, but she helps navigate by providing the information and guidance needed. Shannon sees patients ages 18 and older.

Casey Jackson Allen, MD Dr. Casey Jackson Allen specializes in advanced surgery for complex gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and liver tumors. He cares for patients with primary and metastatic intra-abdominal cancers, skin, and soft tissue malignancies, as well as those with rare diseases including sarcoma and neuroendocrine tumors. Dr. Allen completed his fellowship in surgical oncology at the prestigious MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He attained his general surgery residency at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Prior to his surgical training, Dr. Allen received his college degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and attended medical school in his hometown at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Allen is a passionate leader of patient-centered care, specializing in evidence-based treatment pathways and preoperative optimization for surgical patients. As the Lead Quality Officer at AHN Cancer Institute, he ensures high care standards to optimize patient outcomes. His leadership drives transformative changes in cancer care delivery, integrating cutting-edge treatments for all patients. With his focus on value-based health care delivery, Dr. Allen has published over 80 research papers. He has been the lead author for numerous book chapters and has been invited to speak at national meetings. Dr. Allen is dual certified by the American Board of Surgery in both General Surgery and Complex General Surgical Oncology. He is a member of multiple national organizations, including the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology.

Offering same-day appointments, Dr. Azouz specializes in the most current and least invasive techniques available while caring for individuals with cardiovascular disease. He is skilled at performing transcatheter aortic valve replacement, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, coronary cardiac therapeutic interventions, peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, nuclear cardiology, and transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography. Dr. Azouz earned his degree at the University of Aleppo Medical School in Aleppo, Syria. After completing his residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, he gained additional skills and expertise during his cardiovascular fellowship at Lutheran General Hospital, University of Chicago, in Park Ridge, Illinois. He also completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Mid-America Heart Institute, University of Missouri at Kansas City. Prior to joining Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Dr. Azouz was medical director of Butler Cardiovascular Consultants and co-founder of the structural heart program and heart valve clinic at Butler Health System in Butler, Pennsylvania. He was also an attending physician at Allegheny General Hospital and was instrumental in developing the Butler cardiovascular program. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with specialized certification in Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Endovascular Medicine, Dr. Azouz is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and Ohio. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and Pennsylvania Medical Society as well as a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
