I am the daughter of a career firefighter and a Pennsylvania farm girl. From watching my dad serve the community and helping on my mother's family farm, I learned the value of hard work and caring for others. I completed my undergraduate work at Messiah College, now Messiah University, and returned thirty years later to complete a master's certificate. I'm now a seminary student as well as a college instructor. To me, it is important to live one's faith daily and be an encouragement to others.
