Penns Valley Area School District

Eastern Lancaster School District provides a wide range of educational services and learning opportunities to the residents of Pennsylvania. The district enrolls more than 3,500 students and operates four elementary schools, middle and a high school. It offers a wide range of subjects in its curriculum, including English, math, science, history, social science, world languages, visual and performing arts, agriculture, vocational education, physical education, and elective options. The district has a food services department that provides students and staff with daily nutritional meals in lunch and also serves breakfast. Eastern Lancaster School District also provides a variety of athletic programs, such as football, water polo, tennis, volleyball, golf, cross country, wrestling, basketball, soccer, softball, and swimming and diving. Pequea Valley School District serves 1, 804 students. We are the fourth largest district in Lancaster and Lebanon counties providing transportation services for over 81 square miles. Our district is located in rural Lancaster County and is surrounded by beautiful Amish farmland. The district includes four instructional buildings; two elementary schools, one intermediate school, and one high school. Pequea Valley employs 139 highly-qualified faculty members, 117 support staff, and 15 administrative staff members. We have 1, 217 computers in the district and 15 computer labs. The district has consistently met Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) standards. In order to meet these standards, schools must achieve a 95% participation rate on the PSSA and a 90% attendance rate.

Ephrata Area School District is located in Ephrata, Pa. It provides academic classes to more than 4,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district s schools offer educational programs in reading, music, language arts, math, English, science, social studies, business, agriculture, family and consumer science, foreign languages and special education. The schools organize a range of athletic activities that include football, basketball, softball, baseball, cross country, track and field, tennis and soccer. The district s high schools have guidance and counseling departments that provide information regarding scholarship and career planning. The district has a staff of more than 300 faculty members and over 175 support personnel. Edgar Public Schools operates through various departments, such as human resources, administrative services, finance, curriculum and instruction, risk management and operations.
