The Museum recounts the story of Commonwealth citizens who served our country in defense of the nation. Their service is highlighted through exhibits and artifacts documented by the museum's excellent collection of vehicles, small arms, and a range of other artifacts. The Museum is host to a number of public programming events. From memorial services and veterans reunions to living history encampments and events for children, the museum offers a wide variety of interpretive experiences for young and old alike. The Pennsylvania Military Museum is administered by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission and is actively supported by the Friends of the Pennsylvania Military Museum, which is a non-profit, community-based organization.

Excellent little bit of history. $4 admission fee reasonable. Pretty grounds for a picnic too. Was originally part of Boals' estate. Also great resource for teachers.
