Established in 1977, Prospectus/Berco is a private, nonprofit organization that provides services for seniors and individuals with disabilities. The organization s adult day services include social and recreational activities, paid work, volunteer experiences, communication and mobility training, and physical and occupational therapies. The adult day program of the organization is licensed by the department of Public Welfare and Aging of Pennsylvania. The organization offers vocational training for assembly and packaging jobs. Prospectus/Berco operates more than 30 community homes and provides residential services for over 100 individuals. Additionally, it offers family support services that include respite care, transportation and financial assistance. Prospectus/Berco provides foster care and senior day service programs. The organization is located in Reading, Pa.
