Schuylkill Transportation System

Established in 1982, Schuylkill Transportation System is a provider of public transit services. Based in Saint Clair, Penn., the company serves the public transportation needs of all the residents of Schuylkill County. The transportation company maintains a fleet of its own vehicles. It operates a fixed route bus system from Monday to Friday. Senior citizens over the age of 65 are given free ride with proper identification. The company offers various programs comprising ADA Para transit service, medical assistance transportation and rural transportation for person with disabilities program and shared ride van program. The company is a member of the Pennsylvania Public Transportation Association (PPTA).
