The Village At Penn State, located in State College, Pa., offers a range of independent and assisted living services for elderly citizens. The Medicare-certified center provides long- and short-term skilled nursing care, rehabilitation services, and physical, occupational and speech therapy. It offers upscale residences through a variety of spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments, as well as individual cottages. The institution also offers other services, such as a modern fitness center with heated indoor pool, library, lounge, gift shop and convenience store, mail center, health clinic, beauty salon, and arts and crafts studio. Residents are also provided dining facilities in the restaurant-style dining room. The residents are also provided with scheduled transportation.
