Tariq J Cheema, MD Dr. Cheema is director of the AHN Breathing Disorder Center. A specialist in pulmonary, critical care, and neurocritical care, he treats patients with COPD, interstitial lung diseases, and sarcoidosis. He also performs EBUS/navigational bronchoscopy. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Drexel University School of Medicine, System Division Chief, AHN Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep and Allergy, Vice President and Medical Director of ASRI. Dr. Cheema received his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and completed residencies at Wheeling Hospital, West Virginia, and Allegheny General Hospital-West Penn Hospital Medical Education Consortium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care was also at Allegheny General Hospital-West Penn Hospital Medical Education Consortium. He also earned a Master of Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine for Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. He was voted a Top Doctor in Pennsylvania in 2019. He speaks English.

Ida Brockman, MD Ida Brockman, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist with AHN Behavioral Health, specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Brockman enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults using a combination of medication management, therapy, and behavioral interventions. Dr. Brockman completed medical school at The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed both Adult Psychiatry Residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at UPMC/Western Psychiatric Hospital. During residency and fellowship, Dr. Brockman obtained specialized training in the treatment of pediatric and perinatal OCD, eating disorders, autism & developmental disorders, interventional psychiatry, as well as child & adolescent bipolar and psychotic spectrum disorders. She has received her board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is Child Psychiatry Board Eligible.

Amy Schmetzer, DNP, FNP-C, is a pulmonary nurse practitioner at AHN. She specializes in outpatient pulmonary care, interstitial lung disease, sarcoidosis, lung cancer screenings, asthma, COVID-19 ICU coverage, as well as other pulmonary diseases and critical care. She received her Bachelor of Science and Nursing and her PhD in Nursing Practice/Family Practice from Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Amy is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She provides a patient-centered approach to care, reviewing concerns and providing research-based recommendations tailored to individual patient needs. She sees patients ages 18 and older.
