Tadahiro Uemura MD PHD

Dr. Tadahiro Uemura is a highly respected transplant surgeon specializing in liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation. He is an expert in living donor liver transplantation. With over 20 years of experience, he also performs state-of-the-art liver surgery. Dr. Uemura is System Director of AHN Center for Abdominal Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Surgery and Professor of Surgery at Drexel University School of Medicine. Dr. Uemura finished his transplant fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, and Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas. During his career, Dr. Uemura wrote or co-authored more than 100 articles. He is a member of multiple transplant surgery societies. Dr. Uemura is Board-Certified in General Surgery through American Board of Surgery. He is also Certified Abdominal Transplant Surgeon in American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
