History

The Learning Center was originally named T.L.C., an acronym for Tender Loving Care, when the childcare center was located on the church's property. When the childcare outreach ministry moved to its current location on the Carlisle Pike, the name was changed to The Learning Center, to more accurately represent the growing opportunities it would present to the community. As an outreach for the Full Gospel Church of God Camp Hill, The Learning Center now provides Christian early learning and childcare for children ages 6 weeks through 4th grade, including an on-site private Kindergarten program that is recognized by the PA Department of Education. Additionally, the new facility allows for cafeteria dining, art classes, a library, and large indoor and outdoor play spaces.

Specialties

Early learning and Christian childcare for children ages 6 weeks through 4th grade. We offer a full-day PA Department of Education approved Kindergarten, as well as extended-day care for Kindergartners attending Sporting Hill Elementary. We offer before/after school care for Sporting Hill Elementary, as well as a school-age summer program for all children K-4th grade.
