HistoryBased in Pittsburgh, PA, English Owl has years of experience in education including, elementary through high school, college level, and adult education. The abilities to multitask, learn and adapt quickly, and work in a team have become second nature. My experience also includes the fields of educational research, software development and planning, on-line education, ESL instruction (including business English), composition and creative writing instruction, SAT prep, GRE prep, LSAT prep, study skills, secondary English, and technology integration in the classroom. Education is my passion, and my fondness for working in the world of education and with the possibilities it holds has grown throughout the years. Being part of the education world is not just a job, and I believe in the work that educators and parents do for our future.

Varsity Tutors is a live learning platform that connects students and professionals with personalized instruction to achieve any goal. To date, students have accessed more than two million hours of live instruction on the platform. Experts are available to meet in person or through the Company’s award-winning online and mobile platforms, which currently support the majority of all sessions.
