Towamencin Township

Incorporated in 1975, the Towamencin Township Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that safeguards civil rights and preserves peace, order and safety. It is comprised of more than 25 sworn police personnel and civilian staff. The department has a communication center that responds to calls and dispatches personnel for police and fire emergency and nonemergency services. The Towamencin Township Police Department s patrol division is comprised of bicycle and traffic units and a tactical response team. It also operates a criminal investigation and support services division that maintains school resource, technical services, and administrative support and records units. The department provides copies of police reports and issues parking tickets and citations. The Towamencin Township Police Department is located in Lansdale, Pa.
