History

Only In Rhode Island first opened in 2002, in a 200 sq ft store in downtown Newport. Within a year we relocated to our current space in The Shops at Long Wharf Mall. A few years later, we opened our store at TF Airport, and were the first Rhode Island-based business to operate there! We also ship Rhode Island products all over the world from our website at www.OnlyInRhodeIsland.com. In the ten years since we started, we have won numerous awards, including Small Business of the Year, Woman-Owned Business of the Year, and been named Best of RI and Best of New England. We have a Better Business Bureau Rating of A+, and a 5-Star Customer Service Rating online. We are happy to go the extra mile for our customers and appreciate their loyalty and positivity!!

Only In Rhode Island is a retail business specializing in locally-created products. We sell the work of more than 250 artists, artisans, and independent businesses from all over the State of Rhode Island. Our products include, regional gourmet foods, gift baskets, photography, bath & body products, books, candles, pottery, blown glass, ornaments, home decor, jewelry, handbags, and accessories. Our number one priority is customer service and we work hard to strengthen the connection that our customers have with Rhode Island and the unique things that are made here. We do not hesitate to go the extra mile for our customers and take pride in the fact that our reputation for integrity and quality is well deserved.
