About your Pediatrician Dr. Colleen Powers is a board certified pediatrician with Rhode Island and Massachusetts state medical licenses. Dr. Powers received her BS in Biology from Boston College. She then went onto Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, NH. She did her internship and residency training at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, RI. After she completed her chief resident year, she joined PRIMA Pediatrics in Cumberland. She remained there for eight years before opening her own practice in North Kingstown. Kingstown Pediatrics is affiliated with Hasbro Children's Hospital and Women and Infants' Hospital. Dr. Powers treats a wide variety of child-related illnesses. She has a strong interest in preventative medicine. She worked as a pediatric nurse at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island for two years. In 2009 she graduated from Simmons College with her M.S.N. She then joined Dr. Powers at Kingstown Pediatrics About the Practice The practice cares for patients from the newborn age up to 23 years old. Kingstown Pediatrics is a small pediatric practice that provides personal care. The office is located off Route 102 in North Kingstown across from the new BANKRI, close to Home Depot. We schedule appointments from 10 am to 5 pm. The staff is in the office by 9 am. The providers are available from 10 am on. Office hours are available on the weekends for sick visits in the morning.
