The dining hall of Camp Medicine Bow is named after John R. Rathom, Editor of The Providence Journal and an early benefactor and Commissioner of Scouting. On the Orange and White trails.

Yawgoog's administration building was built in honor of Civil War veteran Captain George Bucklin, a benefactor of Scouting in Rhode Island. On the Orange Trail with the American Legion Flagpole.

Built by the Connecticut Forest and Park Association (CFPA), which maintains the blue-blazed trails in Connecticut. On the Narragansett Trail and the Yawgoog Green Fall Pond area hike.
