Veterinary Services of Wickford

History

Dr Meredith Bird has owned Veterinary Services of Wickford in North Kingstown, Rhode Island for close to 20 years. As a graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, she had dedicated her life to the care of all creatures with compassion and resolve. Dr. Bird is also the president of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Assoc. of Rhode Island, occupied in the same facility. Dr. Chris Fain joined the practice in 2004 and is a resident of North Kingstown. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She is equally passionate about the care of her clients' pets. Dr. Fain's professional interests include internal medicine, surgery, behavior and pain management. It was her own husky's run in with a neurological disease that led her to pursue training in Veterinary Acupuncture, a tool she offers for managing discomfort and chronic illness.
