History

Absolutely Charleston launched in 1998 by a Local Tour Guide who owned a few vehicles at the time and also focused on tours. In 2000 Linda Wohlfeil-Jones decided to focus only on the tour side, and brought in Walt Thorn who purchased the vehicle side of the company. We got into the Trolley & Vehicle business by accident. Walt purchased an old historic bus that he soon restored, and started the business of selling vehicles for high end events which started up the Destination Management side of our company. Today we offer 3 different types of specialized services for our guests: 1. Licensed Tour Guides, 2. Historic Trolleys & Mini Coaches, and 3. Destination Planning & Event Management.
