Blake received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, and was a member of the Women’s volleyball team. After college, she moved to Charlottesville, where she worked as a registered nurse in the Neuroscience ICU at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Blake attended graduate school at the University of Virginia and received her Nurse Practitioner degree in 2020. She has also been an Emergency Department nurse and a travel nurse, working in COVID ICUs throughout the country, before moving to Charleston to accept a position as a Nurse practitioner in the Neurosurgery Department at MUSC. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, playing volleyball, traveling to find the best coffee and ice cream shops, and cheering on her favorite team, the University of Virginia Hoos.

Dr. Stein's commitment to leadership is evident in his experience as an Inaugural Resident for the McNulty Leadership Program at Wharton and his participation in the Wharton Leadership Program in Orthopaedic Surgery multiple times. He has also given lectures on topics such as cemented prostheses, implant design, and leadership. His diverse experience and commitment to leadership and research demonstrate his dedication to providing the best possible care for his patients. He is joining the Medical University of South Carolina as an Adult Reconstruction Surgeon.
