Chester Middle School

As one of the oldest educational institutions in North Carolina, Saint Patrick Catholic School provides a variety of academic programs for more than 300 children in kindergarten through grade five. Founded in 1887, the school offers instruction in religion education, mathematics, science, social studies, Spanish, physical education, computer applications, music, art and language arts. It also provides an accelerated reader program and conducts spelling bee competitions. Saint Patrick Catholic School maintains an athletic association, book club, student council and parent-teacher organization. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.

Northside Elementary School imparts social and academic education to students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as fine arts, music, physical education, speech and technology, basic skills, reading and writing, math, science and social studies. The school has a cafeteria that offers a variety of lunch items for students. It has a team of guidance counselors who work directly with the faculty, students and parents to facilitate academic success and personal development of students. The school has a library that provides an extensive collection of materials for direct classroom instruction and professional staff development. Northside Elementary School is a part of Rock Hill School District Three and is located in Rock Hill, S.C.
