Elizabeth Kirlis, MD, FAAP

Dr. Kelly Havig-Lipke grew up in South Florida and earned her undergraduate degree in English from Williams College in Massachusetts. She received her medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa and completed her pediatric residency training at the MUSC, where she served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. After completing her training, Dr. Havig-Lipke served on the teaching faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at MUSC until she began work as a community pediatrician in Charleston. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). Dr. Havig-Lipke enjoys all aspects of general pediatric care and has a passion for preventive medicine, breastfeeding, health and wellness, adolescent care, and quality improvement.

Dr. Ana Arias-Pandey grew up in Madrid, Spain. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the College of Charleston. She conducted her senior thesis research project at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and continued her research endeavors in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology there. She earned her medical degree and completed her pediatric residency at MUSC. After training, she joined the MUSC Department of Pediatrics as an Assistant Professor for several years, followed by serving the private practice where her three sons were patients since birth, and full circle at her alma mater, continuing to serve the pediatric patients in our community. Dr. Pandey is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics; she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She enjoys all aspects of pediatric care and has a passion for continuity of care, preventive care, quality improvement, and promoting health and wellness for the whole family.

Keaton was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She graduated from Lee University (c/o 2008), where she received her Bachelors in Science and played collegiate basketball. In 2012, she received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. Keaton is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. In 2022, she became a “Girlologist”, offering live seminars about puberty for girls in the Lowcountry. Keaton has traveled multiple times to the Baja peninsula of Mexico for medical mission work. Keaton and her husband, Eric, moved to Isle of Palms in January 2012. They now have a daughter, Elliot, and two sons, Dorian and Alistair. When rare free time occurs, Keaton enjoys being outdoors, gardening, coaching basketball, doing anything competitive, cooking, and taking her children to the beach.
