Kiften Stephens Carroll, MSN - MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital

Kiften Carroll earned her Master's Degree in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2010 after working for several years as a registered nurse at the MUSC Children's Hospital. She served as the nurse practitioner for the MUSC Pediatric Surgery team from 2010-2017. She subsequently moved out-of-state and returned to Charleston to re-joined the MUSC Division of Pediatric Surgery in September of 2021.Kiften is dual board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practioner with over ten years of experience caring for pediatric patients. She specializes in the interdisciplinary team care of infants and children with congenital and acquired surgical conditions, burns, and traumatic injuries. Her clinical interests include patient safety and patient and family education.
