I've spent my entire carrier in women's health - as a labor and delivery nurse, nurse educator and nurse midwife. \n My goal is to guide every woman in her health journey and help her accomplish her personal goals. I provide comprehensive OB-GYN care to women of all ages and strive for the best health outcomes. I believe firmly that we achieve the best outcomes when there's trust, mutual respect and a partnership between patient and healthcare provider. \n I've been active in my field for decades. I won a merit award from the Pennsylvania Public Health Association in 1999 for my work on child mortality. In 2009, I presented my research on Breastfeeding Education in a Small Urban Prenatal Clinic at the 40th Biennial Convention of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. And in 2012, a co-authored a pilot study to increase fruit and vegetable intake among pregnant Latina women for the Journal of Primary Care and Community Health. \n I live in Bluffton, South Carolina, with my husband and our dog, Caleb. My three grown daughters are spread out across the country from Philadelphia to Chicago to Ventura, California. I love visiting them but always love coming home, too. My hobbies include scrapbooking, reading, walking and wine. I'm also learning how to play golf.
