Dr. M. Kinon Lecholop, a native of South Carolina, obtained his undergraduate degree in biology from the Honors College at The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina. He then went on to pursue his DMD from the College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Upon graduating, he remained at MUSC for his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery followed by a year long fellowship in craniofacial and facial trauma reconstruction. As the program director and as an assistant professor in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, his interests are in craniofacial reconstruction, facial trauma reconstruction, temporomandibular joint reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, and resident training. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and The American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the South Carolina Oral and Maxillofacial Society, the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Jeffrey P. Blice joined the Storm Eye Institute as a clinical associate professor of ophthalmology in October 2013. He received a doctorate of medicine from Temple University, Philadelphia, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Prior to his ophthalmology residency at Bethesda National Naval Medical Center, he served as a regimental surgeon for the Marine Corps during Desert Storm. In 1997, he completed fellowship training in diseases of the retina, and vitreous and intraocular tumors at Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia.
