More than 400 new patients will come to our gynecologic cancer program this year, and there’s a good reason for that. Not only does MUSC Health Hollings Cancer Center offer you the state’s only female gynecologic oncologists; we also have nationally known radiation oncologists, ovarian cancer specialists and gynecologic pathologists. We specialize in the diagnosis, surgery, treatment and management of cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer and vulvar cancer with compassion and thoroughness. For almost 25 years, transplant specialists at MUSC Health have provided lifesaving pancreas transplants to patients with insulin-dependent diabetes. As the only transplant center in South Carolina, we often take on challenging pancreas transplant cases involving high-risk patients, like those with certain cardiac conditions. The Transplant Center is proud to serve both adult and pediatric patients. We offer complete care for patients undergoing many types of solid organ transplant, including heart, lung, kidney, liver, and pancreas.

Tia Ramirez, ARNP, is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in cancer and focusing on Gynecology. She has worked as a nurse in oncology since 2005. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with her Masters in FNP in 2017. She trained at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and assisted with opening a satellite clinic in AZ. Tia has worked in various areas of oncology and finds it very rewarding to be a part of her patient's cancer journey.Tia is committed to treating every patient with respect and compassion. Tia wants her patients to be well-informed and to feel comfortable discussing sensitive subjects with her to ensure she addresses all aspects of her patient's health.She moved to Myrtle Beach from WA for better weather and work/life balance.
