Fish printing artist. I have been fish printing for over a year, and painting since I was a young adult. Fish printing is an 1800s Japanese tradition used to record and commemorate a fisherman’s catch while still being able to utilize the fish for its meat afterward. We capture an image of their size, shape, surface texture, and delicate scale patterns on fabric with black acrylic paint.
