Patti D. Long, NNP

Christina Baxter is a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing from the University of South Alabama (2022) and a Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University (2015). Currently based at the Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital, Christina has been a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner since 2015, specializing in Level IIIc/IV Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care. Her responsibilities include clinical care, delivery room management, and performing procedures within the scope of practice for NNPs. Christina's certifications include being NCC Board Certified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) and specializing in Care of Extremely Low Birth Weight Neonate (C-ELBW) and Neonatal Neuro-Intensive Care (C-NNIC). She is also certified in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support Provider (BLS).
