Roebuck Wholesale Nursery

Roebuck Wholesale Nursery and Landscaping was started by Ricky McAbee in the early 1980s. During his early years, Ricky worked with his parents, Alvin and Jean, at Roebuck Greenhouses. This family-owned business was geared toward the production of greenhouse-grown plant material sold to both wholesale and retail customers. Shortly after his graduation from Wofford College, Ricky began seeing the need for a full service landscaping company to accommodate the growing needs of the Spartanburg area. In 2000, Ricky officially split from Roebuck Greenhouses moved the company headquarters to its present location at 2980 Stone Station Road (Highway 215). Today, the company has evolved into two divisions, landscape and wholesale nursery. The landscape division is comprised of five full-time installation crews and two commercial maintenance crews. The work of this division is primarily focused in the Upstate of South Carolina, but it has completed a number of projects beyond this footprint. The wholesale nursery division provides plant materials and green goods to landscape contractors in the Spartanburg and surrounding areas. nursery is located at the company headquarters on Highway 215 in Roebuck, SC.
