Sunset Park Elementary School

Sunset Park Elementary School is a part of the Rock Hill School District. The school enrolls more than 200 students in kindergarten through grade five. It features a media center that maintains a collection of educational software, reference materials, and fiction and nonfiction books. Sunset Park Elementary School s general academic curriculum includes subjects, such as mathematics, science, social studies and language arts. It operates a parent-teacher organization that encourages parental involvement in children s education and sponsors various fundraising events and activities. Sunset Park Elementary School provides Title I and reading recovery programs. The school also provides special education for students with special needs. Established in 1894, Clinton Junior College is a private two-year institution specializing in Arts. Located in Rock Hill, S.C., the college offers degrees in several programs, such as associate of liberal arts, associate of business, associate of religious studies, early childhood/elementary education, associate of science with concentration in biology, chemistry and mathematics. The associate of business programs deals in providing advanced study in business administration. Clinton Junior College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

Our journey began on August 8, 2005 as we started the first private Montessori School in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Our school has been a huge success and we are so proud of the name Freedom Montessori. Our school day begins at 8: 30 a.m. and ends at 3: 30 p.m. Our extended day ( Encore ) program runs from 3: 30 p.m. to 6: 00 p.m.and is available, for an additional charge, for students currently enrolled Freedom Montessori
