Timberland High School

Edisto High School is a community-based institution that serves students in grades 9 through 12. It provides membership for various clubs and organizations, such as the Future Business Leaders of America, the National Honor Society, student council and marching band. The school has a guidance department that provides information and assistance regarding career choices and future employment opportunities. It offers various sporting activities that include cross country, basketball, cheerleading, football, soccer, softball, track and field, swimming and volleyball. The school s curriculum includes foreign languages, special education, social studies, math, science, agriculture, drivers education, business, speech and health. Edisto High School is governed by the Orangeburg Consolidated School District and is located in Cordova, S.C.

Berkeley Middle School, located in Moncks Corner, S.C., is part of the Berkeley County School District. It offers classes to students in grades six through eight and has an enrollment of more than 1,300 students. Its program ensures a successful transition from the self-contained classroom structure of the elementary school to the departmentalized structure of the high school while providing support and direction. The school provides a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, social studies and science. Additionally, it offers other courses, such as art, music, computer studies and foreign language. Community service projects are part of each grade. Its extracurricular activities include interscholastic and intramural sports and various student clubs and organizations, such as its art, audiovisual, book, ceramics and chess clubs; history, math and Web teams; jazz ensemble; student newspaper; student council; and yearbook.
