She received a scholarship to play soccer at the University of Central Arkansas where she completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing. While pursuing her Advanced Nurse Practitioner (APN) degree, she worked in an inpatient rehabilitation facility and was a clinical instructor for the undergraduate nursing program at the University of Central Arkansas.
