Austin Beard joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2019 after 5 years of active-duty service in the United States Army, where he served as a Sudanese Arabic linguist and Intelligence Analyst. His educational journey includes degrees from the University of Mississippi, the prestigious Defense Language Institute, and Cochise College. He continues to serve our nation in the Army Reserve. Austin understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping military service members, federal employees, and their families get their financial lives squared away. Austin holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, Tennessee, and Virginia.
