Great Southern Corporation, a company founded in 1961, produces Brahma s gloves, designed to protect worker safety. Brahma attempts to manufacture gloves that impede injury from heat, cold, electrical devices, abrasives, chemical exposure, fatigue and sharp metal. Its gloves are manufactured throughout the world under stringent quality control standards. Brahma researchers evaluate new materials and new manufacturing techniques. All gloves are stocked and shipped from its central warehouse location in Memphis, Tenn. Some of Brahma s glove styles designed primarily for the industrial market are only inventoried untagged. However, Brahma can apply tags to any style glove it inventories. The company is headquartered in Memphis.
