Compassion Care Clinic

Established in 1967, the Pennyroyal Center is a private, nonprofit organization that specializes in mental retardation, developmental disabilities and substance abuse services. It operates several clinics and serves Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Hopkins, Lyon, Muhlenberg, Todd and Trigg counties of Kentucky. The center provides emergency services and conducts several divorce-related workshops. It offers a range of outpatient mental health care services that includes group counseling and psychiatric treatment for adults, adolescents and children. Additionally, the Pennyroyal Center provides psychological testing and evaluation, medication, and case and anger management services. The center offers respite care services and staffs a psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, nurse, receptionist, coordinators and therapists. The Pennyroyal Center maintains locations in Hopkinsville, Madisonville, Greenville and Princeton, Ky.
