Southern Tennessee Medical Center is a comprehensive medical facility licensed for 131 hospital beds and 26 skilled care/nursing home beds and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission. Emerald-Hodgson Hospital, located on the campus of the beautiful University of the South in Sewanee, is a 21-bed general acute care facility and a 20-bed skilled care facility which provides high quality health care for a progressive and supportive community. The nursing and support staff strive to provide individualized care directed to the specific needs of each patient.
