Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue is a non-profit zoo and rescue facility located in Clinton, TN. Founded by James Cox, the zoo is dedicated to providing a forever home for exotic animals rescued from across the US. In addition, they are a certified wildlife rehabilitation facility, rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing native Tennessee wildlife.
As the Official Zoo of Anderson County, Little Ponderosa Zoo offers educational field trips for local students, teaching them about animals and the environment. With a mission to serve Anderson County and East Tennessee, the zoo relies on support and contributions to continue their important work of rescue, rehabilitation, and release of native wildlife.

What an amazing place! We fed so many goats and deer and saw so many other animals. We all had a great time.

A VERY hard working rescue and sanctuary meets petting zoo. We were escorted by several frisky Pygmy goats. There are a lot of animals ready to engage the family....if you purchase a food bucket....
