In 1955, Mr. Newberry moved the company to its present location in West Memphis, Arkansas, to begin manufacturing tank trucks and steel storage tanks. Mr. Newberry was a founding member of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI). Over the years, Newberry has worked with organizations such as STI, PEI, NFPA, EPA, and Underwriter’s Laboratories and has been instrumental in developing many of the products and standards serving the industry today.

Founded in 1983, Contract Fabricators constructs and delivers a wide range of vessels. It also fabricates pressure vessels, stripping columns, cyclones, reactors, heat exchangers, evaporators, storage tanks, structural steel, high-pressure pipes, refractory linings, large mechanical equipment, separators, gasifiers, mega pumps, risers and towers. Contract Fabricators offers a wide range of services, including mechanical designing, code calculations, finite element analysis, engineering drawings and solid modeling. In addition, it offers various welding and fabrication services, such as layout designing, parts cutting, forming, welding and quality inspection. The company serves a wide range of industries, including petroleum, paper, chemical, power, food and beverage, plastics, chemical and feed industries, as well as other custom projects.
