Stringer's Ridge Park is a 92-acre forested park located in the heart of North Chattanooga, offering a serene escape from the urban surroundings. Originally threatened by potential development, the park was saved through the efforts of The Trust for Public Land and the Tennessee River Gorge Trust, who now hold the conservation easement on the entire property.
With its downtown vantage point, Stringer's Ridge provides a unique view of the entrance to the Tennessee River Gorge. The park is maintained by the dedicated volunteers of the Friends of Stringer's Ridge, who work to maintain and cut trails for visitors to enjoy.
