The Tennessee State Library and Archives offers access a variety of print and electronic resources. It provides resources in several areas, including literature, science, law, technology and medicine. The library also offers a range of bibliographies, phonebooks, manuscripts, photographs, directories, maps, postcards, and census and military records. The Tennessee State Library and Archives has a preservation services section that provides microfilming, document restoration and preservation and photographic duplication services. The library also offers cataloging, grant management and continuing education assistance to regional state libraries. Additionally, it provides visually-impaired individuals with a variety of resources, including cassette tapes, long-play records, and Braille books and magazines. A division of the Tennessee Department of State, the Tennessee State Library and Archives is located in Nashville, Tenn.
