History

Shop owner Ian Brown has operated in Memphis for most of his 16 year career, establishing himself as the regions go-to artist for photo-realism, specifically portraits. He opened Rook x Raven with a unique vision: run a custom shop where artists can thrive and develop their unique styles, educate everyone about the qualities and processes required for truly amazing tattoo art, and create an atmosphere that breaks away from the one and done mentality often associated with tattoos. At Rook x Raven, we strive to design truly unique art that considers the body's form and the artists' specialties. We have artists who specialize in Lettering, Traditional, Neo-traditional, Cartoon/Anime, Japanese traditional and Photo Realism.
