The Horn Lake Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that preserves peace and order, prevents and detects crime, apprehends offenders and protects residents lives and property. It supports the Explorer Program, which is a worksite-based program for youths between the ages of 14 to 20. The department maintains administration, patrol, detective, support services and operations divisions. The Horn Lake Police Department maintains a communication and dispatch center that provides emergency and nonemergency information and communication services to various federal agencies. It operates a detention facility that provides secure and humane confinement services for criminals convicted by the court. The Horn Lake Police Department is located in Horn Lake, Miss.
