About Us Alodia Sports Academy Philosophy Every program has a real or identifiable personality or image. This personality or image is a direct reflection and extension of the program’s philosophy. Our philosophy is a simple one: • Obtain and Achieve GREAT PERFORMANCE!!! Our job at Alodia Sports Academy is to help each and every member of our program reach his or her full potential as a student, as an athlete, and as a person. The challenge of this responsibility is the reason the Academy is in existence. The building blocks of our philosophy are enthusiasm and discipline. Our players will feed off of the enthusiasm presented by our instructors. Creating a positive environment will help in the development of the members of the Academy. We firmly believe nothing great in this world was ever created without passion and enthusiasm. Discipline is getting our players to do the right thing and doing it that way every single time. As Lou Holtz says, “Discipline isn’t something you do to someone; it’s something you do for someone.” On the basketball court, we want our players to have the attitude that they will play hard, play unselfishly, and have fun. If we can accomplish this, we are building the foundation of a successful basketball program. We believe that all of our players have room to improve. It is our main responsibility to develop each player to his full potential, on and off the court. As leaders in Alodia Sports Academy, we can never lose sight of this goal. The game of basketball is a great tool with which to teach some important lessons applicable in all areas of life: hard work, discipline, enthusiasm, teamwork, and competition.
