Founded in 1903, Family Service Association of San Antonio is one of the oldest human service agencies in San Antonio. It is a private, nonprofit, nonsectarian agency funded by the United Way, fee-for-service contracts with public and private organizations, foundation and corporate grants, private contributions, client fees and outpatient mental health insurance. The organization is dedicated to helping children, seniors and families in need. It offers various counseling services that include employee assistance program and family effectiveness training. The organization offers its services to seniors, children, parents, teachers, youth and families. The organization is approved by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children.
