Then, as the sole fellow who went to the Veteran's Administration to train in interventional cardiology, Dr. Daniels had a unique opportunity to perform angioplasties on his own every day. Recruited to join a practice in McAllen, Texas, Dr. Daniels, again, had the opportunity to perform a large number of cardiac interventions at this early stage in his career. After three years in McAllen, Dr. Daniels joined a small private practice in San Antonio, Texas, until he moved to South Texas Cardiovascular Consultants in early 2013. Dr. Daniels belongs to a number of professional organizations including the American College of Cardiology, Texas Medical Association, Bexar County Medical Society and the American Heart Association.
