Westway Trading Corporation, founded in 1940 (then named Industrial Molasses Company) commenced business as a molasses supplier in the Northeastern United States. Westway continues to sell molasses, a by-product of sugar refining, for use in the production of fermentation products such as bakers yeast, citric acid, and alcohol. Westway is also the primary molasses supplier to the U.S. animal feed trade and distributes molasses throughout eastern Canada and Mexico.
