History

I have been fishing near South Padre Island since I was six years old. While guiding elk and deer hunters in Colorado, I decided to extend my outreach and come home to my roots, thus starting Capt. Gus's Salt Water Adventures.

Hello everyone my names is Capt. Gus! I run private fishing charters and duck hunts on South Padre Island from a 24' Carolina Skiff. This boat is very family friendly with its high gunnels, and huge front deck allowing you and your kids to spread out and cast with ease. I specialize in big trout and red fish but there are many different types of fish in our bay system just waiting to be discovered. So bring a cooler with your favorite cocktails, kick back, listen to your favorite music on my new sound system and come catch some fish with me, Capt. Gus, and find your own salt water adventure!
