Cypress Academy of Performing Arts, based in Houston, started its classes in 1988 in a converted dance room and has expanded to a more than 10,000-square-foot facility. It offers a wide range of opportunities for people of all ages to artistically express themselves through many different disciplines, and its focus is on authentic theatrical and dance experiences for children. It has a group of young singers, actors and dancers who perform at the local and national level. All Cypress Academy of Performing Arts members are trained in all three areas of the performing arts, including voice, acting and dance, with a strong emphasis on technique and entertainment value. They compete in several different categories, including jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, modern, hip-hop, musical theatre, song and dance, vocal and acting.

Older building that is constantly having issues with electricity and water. They then award a make-up class that can only be used for a different time than the original as you have to be enrolled...

Have attended a few camps here throughout the years, the place is deteriorating and can use a good deep cleaning. I will say that the kids do have fun so there's that! Staff is always very helpful.
