Dallas County Youth Village

Dallas County Youth Village is a 24-hour security facility that houses boys between the ages of 10 and 17. It is a part of the Juvenile Department of the Dallas County government. The facility provides supervision services to its residents. It maintains a team of caseworkers and probation officers who assist residents to confront and overcome various problems. Dallas County Youth Village features a a wall locker, bathroom facility, sleeping area and living area with televisions. It operates a school that provides classes in English, math, social studies and science. The facility also operates a vocational training center and offers physical fitness programs that include exercise classes, seasonal sports and intramural competitions.
