First Baptist Church of Forney in Forney, Texas, is a welcoming multi-generational church that provides worship experiences, Bible studies, mission opportunities, and fellowship to the community. Established over a century ago in 1868, the church has a rich history of growth and service. Starting with believers gathering in schoolhouses near Mustang Creek, the church has evolved over the years, moving to a spacious 28-acre site in 1996. With a focus on accommodating growth and expanding ministries, the church continues to adapt and enhance its facilities to meet the needs of an ever-changing community. Guided by a commitment to serving souls and spreading the message of Jesus Christ, First Baptist Church of Forney embarked on a building program named "Higher Ground" in 2017.
