Kubota Tractor Corporation is one of the leading marketers and distributors of less than 40 horsepower tractors in the United States. Kubota Corporation introduced its first tractor to the U.S. in 1969, the Kubota 21 horsepower L200. The tractor was a success, and as a result, Kubota Tractor Corporation was founded in 1972. It introduced its first four-wheel drive tractor in 1974. The company has four lines of tractors, the BX, B, L and M Series, with more than 80 tractor models. It also offers compact construction equipment, turf equipment, lawn and garden equipment, pumps, generators and a variety of implements and attachments. The company sells and services equipment with a network of more than 1,040 authorized dealers throughout the United States. Kubota Tractor Corporation has headquarters in Torrance, Calif., and four division offices and warehouses in Lodi, Calif.; Fort Worth, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; and Atlanta.
