Henderson Middle School

Henderson Middle School enrolls students in grades six through eight. It provides various educational programs for the physical, emotional and intellectual development of children. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, fine arts, foreign languages, mathematics, reading, science and social studies. It also provides instruction in library skills and physical education. The school offers special education, English as a Second Language and reading intervention programs. It provides opportunities to participate in various athletic activities, such as football, volleyball, cheerleading and basketball. Henderson Middle School is a part of the Hardin-Jefferson Independent School District, which enrolls more than 2,000 students.
